Sometimes healing is not about forcing more connection. Sometimes it is learning how to feel safe enough to return to your body again. Not wanting to be touched can mean many different things. Sometimes it is a clear boundary. Sometimes it is overstimulation, burnout, emotional exhaustion, cognitive overload, or nervous system depletion.
