2. Purpose of This Website

This Site provides general information about therapy services, educational content, resources, and scheduling options. The content on this Site is for informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment, diagnosis, or medical advice.

3. No Therapist–Client Relationship

Use of this Site, including submitting contact forms, emails, or scheduling requests, does not establish a therapist–client relationship. A therapeutic relationship is formed only after:

  • Completion of intake documentation

  • Review and signature of informed consent forms

  • Confirmation of client eligibility based on state location

  • Mutual agreement to begin services

4. Licensure & Telehealth Services

Therapy services are provided only to individuals physically located in states where the clinician is authorized to practice at the time of service.

Congruent Soul Therapy provides services to clients located in:

  • Pennsylvania

  • Georgia

  • Florida (via telehealth authorization)

Clients must confirm their physical location at each session. If a client is located outside of these states at the time of service, therapy may not legally be provided.

Telehealth services are rendered in compliance with applicable state laws and professional regulations.

5. Telehealth Disclaimer

Telehealth services may include electronic communication using secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms. While reasonable safeguards are in place, potential risks include:

  • Technology disruptions

  • Internet service interruptions

  • Privacy risks inherent in electronic communication

Clients must sign a separate Telehealth Informed Consent before beginning telehealth services.

6. Crisis & Emergency Services

This Site is not monitored 24/7 and is not intended for crisis communication.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or thoughts of self-harm:

  • Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)

  • Call 911

  • Go to your nearest emergency room

Do not use this Site or email for urgent matters.

7. HIPAA & Confidentiality

Protected Health Information (PHI) is handled in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Please note:

  • Standard email and website forms may not be fully secure.

  • Sensitive clinical information should only be shared through a secure client portal once established.

Clients receive a separate Notice of Privacy Practices during the intake process.

8. Mandatory Reporting

As a licensed mental health professional practicing in Pennsylvania and Georgia and providing telehealth services to Florida residents, the clinician is required to comply with state-specific mandatory reporting laws. These may include reporting:

  • Suspected abuse or neglect of a child

  • Abuse or neglect of a vulnerable adult

  • Imminent risk of harm to self or others

Limits to confidentiality are outlined in detail in the Informed Consent provided to clients.

9. Payment & Self-Pay Services

Congruent Soul Therapy operates as a self-pay practice. Fees for services are disclosed prior to the start of treatment.

Clients are responsible for payment at the time services are rendered unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

In accordance with the No Surprises Act, self-pay clients may request a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, branding, graphics, logos, downloads, and educational materials, is the property of Congruent Soul Therapy and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify content from this Site without written permission.

11. Third-Party Links

This Site may contain links to third-party websites for convenience. Congruent Soul Therapy is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party sites.

12. Limitation of Liability
