Gifts from the Universe

I don't know where to even begin.

Lets start about 15 years ago.

I am a freshman in college learning about Wiccans and reading all I can about chakras, nature and spirituality. To be clear, this was not a course in my Catholic university. It was my hyperfocus.

While I was immersed in learning about this, I met my still best friend who introduced me into the world of Reiki and crystals. I still remember my first trip to the crystal store, which was, of course, a neighborhood over from my hometown!

From then on, I have always carried crystals on me. The lineup has changed over the years and I have worn out many bags.

My latest crystal bag held rose quartz, clear quartz, a gold dipped four leaf clover, a tiger's eye penis and an opalite with a few others.

THIS is my favorite bag and I always bring it with me on trips.

Each one holds a little meaning for me.

Rose quartz has always felt connected to love, compassion and softness. A reminder to lead with an open heart.

Clear quartz is the one I think of when I need clarity, amplification and a little energetic reset.

The gold dipped four leaf clover is probably the most obvious one. Luck. Opportunity. A reminder that sometimes the unexpected thing is the thing that changes everything.

The tiger's eye penis is... well, exactly what you think it is. 😂 But tiger's eye itself has always represented courage, grounding and confidence to me. And honestly, I like carrying a little reminder not to take myself too seriously and a token of my own BDE.

And then there is the opalite, which I associate with transitions, intuition and trusting what I can't always see yet and my FAVORITE crystal (pre Taylor Swift song)

Looking at that collection now, it feels almost ridiculous how perfectly it fits this story.

Love. Clarity. Luck. Courage. Intuition.

And then I lost the whole damn bag.

To my dismay, I have been SEARCHING for it for months. I lost it after my trip to Mexico LAST YEAR!

Now, this is not my first time losing an important token. At some point I accept that it will turn up or it wont. I trust if it doesnt, it will find someone who needs it more.

And that is what I did…

Yunno after I SEARCHED for it for months.I searched all my bags, several times and it was nowhere to be found.

…I let it go.

Nine months to the day since I returned from Mexico (realizing this right now), I finally finished packing as I am leaving for Georgia today.

I decide, okay, I need to bring a purse, and I pull out a backpack and BOOM!

I pull out this bag of my beloved tokens!!!

Please trust me when I tell you I HAVE SEARCHED ALL MY BAGS SEVERAL TIMES.

It was always nowhere to be found.

Right before pulling out this bag, I lit incense and prayed for protection and connection on this trip, putting opportunities in my path that help me further align with my goals.

And I finished packing.

I have a contract with the universe that when I finish a task I've been putting off, I receive a little treat.

And apparently today, my little treat was my favorite crystal bag appearing out of thin air.

Or, you know, a backpack I had already searched.

Either way.

I'll take it.

And just like that I know I am held cosmically.

I will be safe on this trip and benefit in ways I probably cant imagine, as I know the universe takes me where I need to go.

In that moment I let go of all residual stress and concerns that have been in the back of my mind and I know it will work out.

Today I had the absolute privilege of packing my favorite crystal bag on the new moon, no less.

And maybe that is the gift.

Not just finding the bag.

Not just getting back the things I love.

But being reminded that I don't have to know exactly how everything is going to work out.

Sometimes I don't need to search.

Sometimes I just need to trust that as I walk an aligned (congruent) path, what I need will appear when I need it most.

Our job is to be ready to accept the opportunity.

Maybe the thing you have been looking for isn't actually lost.

Maybe it is just waiting for the right moment to find its way back to you.

And maybe, sometimes, the universe has a funny way of reminding us that we are exactly where we are supposed to be.

Now I want to hear from you. Email me at candice@somewhatcongruentsoul.com

What is one “gift from the universe” you've received lately?

It can be big, tiny, weird, completely explainable, or something you still can't explain.

A lost object that magically reappeared.

A person who showed up at exactly the right time.

An opportunity you weren't expecting.

A coincidence that felt like more than a coincidence.

Hit reply and tell me about it.

I want to hear the stories that make you stop and think:

Okay, universe. I see you.

Somewhat Congruent and Slightly More Aligned,

Candice
